Somebody will notice and it will make all the difference.
When I was in Italy, I took a day trip to Verona to see the Castelvecchio Museum, renovated by Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. I was travelling alone at the time, so I had the luxury of taking as much time as I wanted, marvelling at little details that some might have found boring.
Til his death, Scarpa was never commissioned a full building, so his work lives in the details. When I get frustrated fighting for things no one seems to care about, I think about how he brought new meaning to old stucco and brick through his details and how the little things made all the difference. #scarpa #inspiration
